Eleven Wellesley Student-Athletes Named To NEWMAC Sportsmanship Team

WELLESLEY, Mass. – This year, the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) established an All-Sportsmanship Team, recognizing student-athletes from each team and in every sport that best demonstrate the ideals of the NEWMAC and its Code of Conduct.

The NEWMAC is committed to good sportsmanship and developing healthy environments for competition. Throughout the 2016-17 academic year, eleven Wellesley College student-athletes have been recognized for their commitment to sportsmanship throughout their competitive seasons, regardless of overall performance or statistics for the season. Wellesley's 2016-17 NEWMAC All-Sportsmanship Team honorees are listed below.

The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference consists of 11 highly selective institutions committed to academic excellence: Babson College, Clark University, U.S Coast Guard Academy, Emerson College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Springfield College, Wellesley College, Wheaton College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
