22 Blue Student-Athletes Named to Fall NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team

WESTWOOD, Mass. -- The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has announced the fall 2018 Academic All-Conference Team and a total of 22 Wellesley student-athletes have been honored for thier academic excellence in the classroom.

Wellesley earned seven selections from the cross country program, and five each from the field hockey, soccer and volleyball programs. Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2017 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at her institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
