I cannot imagine my time at Wellesley without athletics. Before I knew what the heck I was doing here, I knew I was going to have sports. Even when school was at its toughest, Wellesley Athletics kept me grounded. Getting to see my teams grow and change over four years while creating and maintaining some of the best friendships I’ve ever had is something I will be forever grateful for.

To the strength and conditioning staff: I’m so glad my time on two teams allowed me to meet and work with so many of you. To the coaching staff on field hockey and lacrosse: thank you for the opportunity to grow as an athlete and a human being. A major thanks to the ATR for keeping me up and running (and allowing me to respectfully loiter for longer than I should). Finally, I want to thank all the PERA staff for being some of the best people on the entire Wellesley campus.

Being able to play two seasons a year is a Division III opportunity that I’m so thankful I was able to make use of. More specifically, it led me here, where I was able to meet so many people and make so many friends (on and off the field hockey and lacrosse teams). I loved getting the opportunity to play with all of you, from the seniors my first year to the first years this year, but more importantly I’m so thankful that I’ve had the opportunity to know all of you. I wouldn’t trade this experience for the world.

My time at Wellesley would not have been nearly as bright without your presence. I’ve dedicated 15 years of my life to sports, and I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that these last 4 have been the best ever.
