Blue Nation Giving Day is December 3rd!
Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 is a big day for the Wellesley College Athletics community. Last year, Blue Nation shattered every giving day goal we set. What does that mean for this year? We're tripling our goal. We're asking you to help us reach 750 gifts on Blue Nation Giving Day.

On Tuesday, December 3, 2019 we're celebrating Wellesley Athletics by bringing together current students, alumnae and former coaches to reach new goals. Wellesley Athletics is many things, but mostly, Wellesley Athletics is great because of you.
Join us in supporting our student-athletes. When you make a gift to Friends of Athletics, you are supporting out of region training trips, wellness initiatives and competitive excellence. Thanks to the generosity of several key donors, we have special additional challenges waiting to be unlocked:
- The first team to reach 25% participation unlocks $2,500 from Christine Reese '88.
- 375 gifts by 12:30pm unlocks a $5,000 challenge gift from Lynn Blais '83, Catherine Chuday Feddersen '84, Katie Hall '84, Janet Krevolin '84, Pam Matthews Farber '84, Lisa Murphy '86 and Sally Saltzbart Minier '86.
- Power Hour! The club and varsity teams with the most gifts between 12:30pm-1:30pm EST will each receive $500.
- 500 gifts by 2:30pm EST will unlock $1,000 from Director of Athletics, Bethany Ellis.
Oh, and one more thing: because we're a naturally competitive bunch, the varsity and club sport teams with the highest participation on Blue Nation Giving Day will each receive $1,500! The teams with the second highest participation on Blue Nation Giving Day will each receive $500!
