Wellesley's Chrobock Named NEWMAC Field Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College field hockey senior Haley Chrobock (Branchville, N.J.) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Field Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 28, 2018. 

Chrobock scored four goals in two games, including both game-winners, in a 2-0 week for the Blue. Chrobock tallied her first career hat trick in a 3-1 win over UMass Dartmouth on Wednesday. She followed that performance by scoring the first goal and the eventual game-winner in a 3-0 shutout of NEWMAC foe Wheaton on Sunday. Chrobock ended the season with a team-high nine goals after tallying four in the final week of the season. 

Wellesley field hockey closed out the 2018 season with a 7-10 overall record and a 3-5 mark in NEWMAC play.
