Wellesley's Strong Named to 2022 NFHCA Collegiate Watch List

GENEVA, N.Y. — Wellesley College field hockey senior Lindsay Strong (Concord, Mass.) has been named to the inaugural 2022 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Collegiate Watch List. Strong is one of 254 collegiate student-athletes across all three divisions of NCAA field hockey who were nominated to the watch list.

The list is intended to represent those collegiate student-athletes with the strongest potential for consideration to the 2022 NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams. Strong, an NFHCA Third Team All-America, NFHCA First Team All-Region and New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) First Team All-Conference selection in 2021, is already off to a great start to the 2022 season. Through five games, the senior defender has scored two goals and recorded two defensive saves for Wellesley.

Strong and the Blue will host Clark in the team's NEWMAC opener on Saturday at 12:00 PM.
