Bio

Emily Hewitt, a member of the Wellesley Class of 2009, returned as the field hockey goalkeeper coach for the Blue in 2015.

Hewitt joined the Blue coaching staff after spending four seasons working as the Head JV Field Hockey Coach at St. Paul’s School in Concord, N.H. In addition to her role with the JV team, Hewitt spent time working with the goalkeepers in the St. Paul's School varsity program.

A two-year captain for the Blue, Hewitt was named an NFHCA Division III Regional All-American in 2007 and 2008. She earned a NEWMAC First Team All-Conference selection in 2008 and second team selections in 2006 and 2007. As a junior in 2007, Hewitt posted 10 shutouts and a 0.97 GAA, helping the Blue advance to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament. Her 10 shutouts ranked her fourth in the nation, while her GAA ranking in the top-12. During her senior year in 2008, Hewitt recorded 129 saves while posting a 1.69 GAA.
