Wellesley Athletics Releases 2016-17 Winter Schedules
WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College Athletics winter 2016-17 schedules for basketball, fencing, squash, swimming & diving, and indoor track & field are now available on wellesleyblue.com!
Swimming & diving will square off with a pair of New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) rivals to open the 2016-17 winter season when they travel to MIT to take on the Engineers and Springfield College on Sunday, November 6, at 3:00 PM. Fencing will follow the next week, opening the year at the Vassar Invitational in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. on Sunday, November 13.
Blue squash will host Boston College in their annual season opener just two days later on Tuesday, November 15, at the Dana Hall School, while basketball will open play on Friday, November 18, at the Saint Joseph (Conn.) Tip-Off Tournament. The Blue will play Mitchell College in the opening round at 8:00 PM. Indoor track & field will be the last team to begin competion this winter, opening the season on Saturday, December 3, at the Smith College Invitational.
