Wellesley Basketball Announces 2022-23 Schedule

WELLESLEY, Mass. - Wellesley College basketball and head coach Jennifer Kroll have announced the team's 2022-23 schedule.

Wellesley begins its season with a non-conferece road game at Framingham State on Wednesday, November 9. Wellesley will play nine home regular season contests at Dorothy Towne Fieldhouse, beginning with a 7:00 PM game against Nichols on Tuesday, November 15. Wellesley's New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) season begins in the 2023 calendar year when the Blue travel to Coast Guard on Saturday, January 14.

The Blue will participate in the University of St. Joseph's (Conn.) Tip-Off Tournament on November 11 & 12, as Wellesey will play Lehman College on Friday at 8:00 PM. The tournament will conclude on Sunday with the Blue scheduled to play either host St. Joseph's (Conn.) or Bard College. A week later Wellesley will travel to the BSU Cave Classic in Bridgewater, Mass. hosted by Bridgewater State. Rounding out the 2021 calendar year, Wellesley hosts Fisher (Nov. 22) and SUNY Canton (Dec. 6), visits Worcester State (Nov. 28) and Elms (Nov. 30), and will compete in the D3hoops.com Classic in the Las Vegas, Nev. (Dec. 28 & 29).

The remaining home schedule includes non-conference dates with Middlebury (Jan. 3) and NEWMAC match-ups with: Mount Holyoke (Jan. 18), Springfield (Jan. 21), MIT (Jan. 28), Babson (Feb. 8), and Smith (Feb. 18).

• Home Opener: Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 7:00 PM vs. Nichols
• NEWMAC Opener: Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 7:00 PM vs. Mount Holyoke
• The NEWMAC Basketball Championship is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, February 22, 2023
