Blue Crew's Livingston Featured in The Wellesley Townsman

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley native and rising sophomore Katie Livingston was featured in the Tuesday edition of the Wellesley Townsman. The article, written by correspondent Tommy Cassell, chronicles her journey to Wellesley from Deerfield Academy, as well as Blue Crew's 2016 NCAA Division III National Championship. Livingston was a member of the Wellesley Varsity 8 at this spring's NCAA Championships.

"Wellesley resident Katie Livingston didn't go to high school at 50 Rice Street.

 She elected to go to Deerfield Academy, a school nearly 100 miles away from Wellesley High.

But now, the college freshman goes to Wellesley College, just two miles away - at 106 Central Street – and Livingston is feeling a whole lot of local pride after her team and boat won a Division 3 NCAA rowing championship this spring…"
