The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) and National Invitational Rowing Championships (NIRC) have announced their respective National All-Academic accolades for the 2019 season. Led by All-Americans Frances Dingivan (Salt Lake City, Utah) and Rhiannon Mulligan (Santa Cruz, Calif.), four members of the Wellesley College crew team earned CRCA National Scholar-Athlete honors. In addition 15 student-athletes were honored with All-Academic recognition by the NIRC.

The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announces its Pocock All-America team for the 2019 season. This award recognizes the outstanding performances of rowers and coxswains at NCAA Division III institutions.

The Blue have now finished in the top-three in each of the last five years.

Wellesley College crew advanced both boats to Saturday's Grand Finals, as the Blue made the program's tenth consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Women's Rowing Championships on Friday at the Indianapolis Rowing Center at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Ind.

Frances Dingivan didn't plan on rowing in college, however when her high school athletic career ended she found herself missing the team environment and decided to see if she could make rowing her new sport.  After attending her first novice practice in the fall of her first year she was hooked and has been a pivotal member of the Blue crew team ever since, rowing at the stroke seat of the Varsity 8 boat.

Wellesley College crew will make the program's tenth consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Women's Rowing Championships when the Blue compete on Friday and Saturday, May 31 and June 1, 2019 at the Indianapolis Rowing Center at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Ind. Indiana University will serves as the NCAA host institution for the championships in conjunction with Indiana Sports Corp and the Indianapolis Rowing Center.

All five boats advanced to Grand Finals and the Wellesley College Crew Varsity 8 (V8+) earned a silver medal finish as the Blue captured the women's points trophy on Sunday at the National Invitational Collegiate Regatta (NIRC) on Lake Quinsigamond.

All five teams in Sunday's regatta are currently ranked in the CRCA/DIII Coaches Poll (Frank Poulin).

No. 6 Wellesley College crew placed third in the Varsity Eight (V8+) race in a Sunday morning regatta on Lake Quinsigamond that featured five of the top 13 teams in the nation, including: No. 1 Bates, No. 2 WPI, No. 11 RIT and No. 13 Trinity (Conn.).

In a match-up of nationally ranked foes, No. 8 Wellesley College crew held serve against No. 2 Williams College and No. 10 Williams Smith. The Blue finished second in both the Varsity Eight (V8+) and Second Varsity Eight (2V8+) races.

Blue Crew Opens Spring With First Place Showing at Washington College Invite

Wellesley College crew capped the team's annual spring break training trip with a dominant performance at the Washington College Invitational. The Blue took first in the Varsity Eight (V8) Grand Final and finished with three of the top-four boats in the Second Varsity Eight (2V8) Grand Final after winning multiple morning heats in the team's first competition since October's Seven Sisters Championship.
