Bio

Stacey Rippetoe joins Wellesley in 2017-18 after a four-year (2013-2017) stint as the Director of Women's Rowing at Division I Boston University.

Rippetoe, the Terriers head coach from 2008-2013, helped guide the team to back-to-back NCAA appearances in 2013 and 2014, as well as conference championships in 2013 and 2014. Rippetoe, who also started BU's Lightweight Rowing program in 2012, joined BU after spending eight years at Michigan State as the program's Assistant Coach (2000-2006) and Associate Head Coach (2006-2008). Prior to arriving in East Lansing, Rippetoe spent three years (1997-2000) as Assistant Coach at the University of Rhode Island. Rippetoe is USRowing Coaching Level 3 Certified and a USRowing Level 1 instructor, she holds a degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University and Masters in Kinesiology from Michigan State.
