Before Wellesley: Attended East Chapel Hill High School...graduated in 2017...fenced in the North Carolina High School Fencing League all four years...placed 1st in the NCHSFL individual women's tournament junior and senior year...helped lead ECHHS women's team to 1st in team championships senior year... was captain of ECHHS team overall senior year, and captain of ECHHS women's team junior and senior year.

Personal: Daughter of Mary Turner and Zans McLachlan...from Chapel Hill, North Carolina...has one younger brother, Lyle...chose to attend Wellesley because of the strong, passionate community of alumnae, professors, and students.
