Blue Golf's Jin, Muldowney, Wei Wrap-Up Jack Leaman Invitational

AMHERST, Mass. – Wellesley College golf concluded play at the Jack Leaman Invitational on Sunday. The tournament was hosted by Amherst College at the par-74, Hickory Ridge Golf Club in Amherst.

First year Amy (Zilin) Jin (Shenzhen, China) finished with the lowest score of the weekend for the Blue, taking 27th place with a 173 (+25) stroke total. Jin dropped one strike on day two, shooting an 87.

Sophomore Maya Muldowney (Waunakee, Wis.) improved by one stroke on Sunday, shooting a second round 92 following her opening day 93 to finish in 41st with a score of 185 (+37). Senior Lei Wei (Brentwood, Calif.) matched Muldowney with a 92 of her own, taking two strokes off her opening day 94 to finish in a tie for 42nd with a 18 stroked total (+38).

Amherst College junior Jamie Gracie (Long Beach, Calif.) won the individual title thanks to a Sunday round of 69. Gracie finished the weekend at 3-under (145) and was the only player in the field below par. Amherst also captured the team title with a +45 score of 637.

Wellesley will close out the season next weekend, April 23-24, at the Liberty League Championships at The Orchards in South Hadley, Mass.
