Blue Golf's Jin, Muldowney, Vandayar Garner Liberty League All-Academic Honors

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- The Liberty League has announced its 2016-17 Women's Golf All-Academic Team and three Wellesley College golfers have been recognized for their academic achievements throughout the year. 

Wellesley junior Maya Muldowney (Waunakee, Wis.) and sophomores Amy (Zilin) Jin (Shenzhen, China) and Annika Vandayar (Garnet Valley, Pa.) have all earned a spot on the squad.  Student-athletes with a full year in residence at their institution who carry a 3.3 cumulative grade point average into a season of competition qualify for the Liberty League All-Academic Teams. For Muldowney, a Neuroscience major, this is her second recongition. It is the first for both Jin and Vandayar. 

Muldowney also earned Liberty League All-Conference second team honors at this year's Liberty League Championship, finishing eighth to help Wellesley take third place at the annual event.
