Wellesley Golf Tied For 2nd After Opening Round at Jack Leaman Invite

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College golf is tied for second place after day one of the 2019 Jack Leaman Invitational at the The Ledges Golf Course.

Williams (308) leads the field with the Blue (324) and NYU (324) following in second place. Vassar (330) is six strokes back in fourth place. 

Wellesley first year Audrey Lin (Fremont, Calif.) is tied for fourth after a first round 77. Classmate Chansie Yang(Laguna Niguel, Calif.) is also in the top-ten, tied for ninth with a first round 80. First year Aine Kenwood(Potomac, Md.) is one stroke back with an 81, while classmate Hannah Blonder(Westwood, Mass.) is in 31st (86) and junior Ryan MacVicar (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) is tied for 32nd (88).

Tournament day two will be a shotgun start at 9:00 AM tomorrow morning.
