Catlin Shoots 74 as Blue Stand in Fifth at Jack Leaman Invitational

BERNARDSTON, Mass. – The Wellesley golf team stands in fifth place out of ten team at the Jack Leaman Invitational at Crumpin-Fox Club.

Williams College is in first after a team round of 303 and tournament thost Amherst is in second just one shot behind at 304. NYU holds third with a score of 307, Middlebury is in fourth at 325 and the Blue hold fifth place with a first round 326.

First year Norah Catlin (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) is in a tie for second place after firing off a 74 (+2) in her spring debut. Senior Ella Warburg (Mercer Island, Wash.) came away with a solid round of 81 for the Blue. Also shooting an 81 was junior Kate MacVicar (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) and sophomore Emma Lim (Naperville, Ill.). All three players stand in a tie for 23rd on the individual leaderboard. 

Senior Aine Kenwood (Potomac, Md.) shot a solid round of 83 (+11) and rounding out the scoring was junior Caroline MacVicar (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) with an 87.

The Blue look to climb up the leaderboards on day two of the Jack Leaman Invitational tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM.
