Wellesley Golf Announces Fall 2022 Schedule

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley College golf and second-year head coach Jackie Beck have released the fall 2022 golf schedule.

Wellesley will open the season in Maine at Bowdoin on Sept. 11 at the Par-72, 5,678 yard Brunswick G.C.. Wellesley is the defending champion at the event after finishing 22 strokes ahead of host Bowdoin in 2021. 

The following weekend, Sept. 17-18, the Blue will head to Middlefield, Conn. and the 2022 Wesleyan (CT) Invitational at the Par-72, 5,812 yard Lyman Orchards G.C.. Wellesley will close out the month of September at the Williams Fall Invitational, Sept. 24-25, at the Par-71, 5,826 yard Taconic G.C. in Williamstown, MA.

The Blue will play a pair of events in October to conclude the fall portion of the team's schedule. Wellesley will play in the George Phinney Classic, hosted by Middlebury College at the Par-71, 5,286 yard Ralph Myhre G.C. in Middlebury, VT on Oct. 1-2. The Blue will then head down to the Par-72, 6,675 yard Captains G.C. in Brewster Mass. for the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship, Oct. 15-16.

More information on Wellesley's spring schedule, including the 2023 Liberty League Championship, will be announced at a later date.
