Blue Lacrosse's Meghan Peterson Earns ECAC DIII All-Star Recognition

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2015 Division III New England Women's Lacrosse All-Stars on Tuesday and Wellesley College lacrosse senior Meghan Peterson has been named to the All-Star Second Team. 

A native of Glastonbury, Conn., Peterson was also a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) first team All-Conference selection this spring. Peterson helped guide Wellesley to the third-lowest goals against average, 8.75, in the NEWMAC during the regular season. The senior co-captain collected 32 ground balls, finishing second on team in caused turnovers with 15, while also adding eight goals and three assists.  

Wellesley lacrosse went 9-5 during the 2015 season, advancing to the semifinals of the NEWMAC Championship tournament for the first time since 2012.
