Wellesley Lacrosse's Gubner Named To IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll

WELLESLEY, Mass. — Wellesley College lacrosse rising senior Jenny Gubner (Pleasanton, Calif.) has been named to the 2017 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll. 

Gubner, also a two-time New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference selection in her her career, was one of 535 student-athletes from 160 different institutions on the 2017 IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.  

As a junior in 2017, the Astrophysics major made 17 appearances for the Blue, registering eight goals and five assists. In three seasons in Blue, Gubner has scored 35 goals and 17 assists in 46 games.
