2018 Wellesley College lacrosse graduate Jenny Gubner (Pleasanton, Calif.) has been named to the 2018 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll. The honor is the second of Gubner's career, as she was also an IWLCA Honor Roll qualifier in 2017.

The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has announced the 2018 NEWMAC Spring Academic All-Conference Teams and a total of 32 Wellesley College student-athletes representing the Blue crew, lacrosse, softball, tennis, and track & field teams have been recognized.

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College lacrosse broke a 3-3 tie with four unanswered goals en route to a 12-6 New England Women’s & Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) victory over visiting Emerson College on a soggy day at the Wellesley turf. Wellesley ends the regular season with a 2-14 overall record and 2-6 mark in the NEWMAC. Emerson is winless on the season and 0-7 in conference.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.-- Wellesley College lacrosse dropped a 20-4 setback in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) game on Saturday afternoon against Springfield College at Stagg Field. Wellesley falls to 1-14 overall and 1-6 in conference play, while Springfield improves to 11-5 on their season and 6-1 in the NEWMAC.

NEW LONDON, Conn.-- Wellesley College lacrosse dropped a 17-10 setback against the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) game on Wednesday afternoon at Cadet Memorial Field. Coast Guard improves to 10-4 overall and 3-2 in the NEWMAC, while Wellesley falls to 1-13 on their season and 1-5 in conference play.

The Blue recognized seniors Mayu Kikuchi, Jenna Mulrenan, and Jenny Gubner for their contributions to the program.

The Blue are now 0-12 in their season and drop to 0-4 in the NEWMAC. Wheaton improves to 5-6 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

In her first three seasons for the Blue, Gubner recorded 35 goals and 17 assists, tallying an impressive 52 points.  In addition to her successes on the field, Jenny has also excelled in the classroom.
