Wellesley Lacrosse Welcomes Emily Ross as Assistant Coach

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College lacrosse head coach Lauren Schoenberger has announced the addition of Emily Ross to the Blue's coaching staff for the upcoming 2018 season. Ross will work primarily with the Blue's goalkeepers during games and practice.

A 2017 graduate of Ithaca College with a degree in Environmental Studies and a concentration in Politics, Ross was a four-year member of the Bombers women's lacrosse team that made back-to-back appearances in the NCAA tournament in 2016 and 2017. Ross completed the Bombers' student-athlete Leadership Academy in 2017 and has one on one training experience as a personal lacrosse goalie trainer with players of all ages.

Wellesley lacrosse finished the 2017 season with a 9-8 overall record, advancing to the NEWMAC Semifinals before falling to eventual NEWMAC Champion Babson. The Blue open the 2018 season on Wednesday, February 28th, when they host Bates at 4:00 PM.
