Blue Lacrosse Earns Five NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Selections

The New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has announced the 2020 Women's Lacrosse Academic All-Conference Team. A total of 72 student-athletes were honored, including five from the Wellesley College lacrosse team.

On March 13, a difficult decision was made to cancel the 2020 spring seasons for six Wellesley Athletics programs. Along with the cancellation of contests, practices and team events, the seniors in the Class of 2020 will miss the opportunity to celebrate Senior Day with their family, friends, coaches and teammates. Sophomore Izzy Burdick (Scarborough, Maine) scored a hat trick and added an assist but Wellesley Lacrosse opened the 2020 season with a 19-12 non-conference setback to Framingham State University on Wednesday at Butler Stadium.
