Senior Gabrielle Shell (Columbus, Ohio) earned five points (two goals, three assists) to give Wellesley College lacrosse a competitive 9-7 non-conference win over University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Wednesday at Butler Stadium. Junior Julee Sharma (Lake Mary, Fla.) grabbed a career-high seven ground balls for the Blue (2-3 Overall).

Lauren Schoenberger, Head Lacrosse Coach and Associate Professor of the Practice in the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics (PERA) at Wellesley College has stepped down from her position, announced Bethany Ellis, Director of Athletics and Chair of the PERA Department.

The NEWMAC announced the Women's Lacrosse 25 Year All-NEWMAC Team in recognition of the historic 25th Anniversary season. A total of 28 student-athletes have been recognized from the last 25 years, including former Wellesley College lacrosse student-athletes Kate Armenta '01, Claudia Veritas '02, Grace Tsan '03, and Loretta White '10. The honored team was voted on by the NEWMAC membership.
