Wellesley Soccer Hosts Mount Holyoke To Conclude Play With Pride Week

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- The Wellesley College soccer program will show support for LGBT players, coaches, support staff, referees and fans everywhere when the Blue host Mount Holyoke College in New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play on Saturday, September 23, at 1:00 PM, as part of Play With Pride week, a nationwide initiative from United Soccer Coaches (formerly the NSCAA).

Wellesley players and coaches will wear rainbow laces throughout the game as a way of sending the message that every person, on every team, is valued and respected. The Blue also wore rainbow laces during Tuesday's match at Roger Williams.
