Liz Zhou Named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Senior Liz Zhou (McLean, Va.) has been named to the United Soccer Coaches 2021 NCAA Division III Women's Region II Second Team announced on Friday.

The defender was previously named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Second Team All-Conference. Zhou was the lone senior for the Blue and led the team to a 6-4-4 overall record. She made a huge defensive save in the home opener against Curry, leading the Blue to a 2-0 victory. Wellesley allowed just two goals in the final four games with Zhou as the leader of the defense. Zhou will finish her career as an All-Region honoree, along as a 2x NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference and 3x NEWMAC Academic All-Conference recipient.
