Bio

Kim Elmore enters her first season with Wellesley College soccer in 2016. In 2015, she worked as a graduate assistant coach at Concordia University, helping lead the Bulldogs back to the GPAC title for the second-straight season.

The native of Salem, Va., played four seasons of NCAA Division I soccer, including one at East Tennessee State University and her final three at Belmont University. Over her three seasons at Belmont, Elmore played in all 54 games as a three-year starter. She also appeared in 16 games in her freshman season at East Tennessee.

As a prep at Salem High School, Elmore earned all-district honors all four years, all-region three times and all-state twice. She was a two-year captain and was named the All-Timesland Player of the year as a senior.

Following college, Elmore was a trial player for Sky Blue FC of the National Women's Professional League during preseason. She also had offers to play in the Czech Republic and Sweden. Her coaching experience includes stints with a U11 club team and as a personal trainer and coach for camps at Vanderbilt University and Belmont. She is in the process of receiving her 'D' coaching license.

Elmore earned her bachelor of science degree in corporate communications and a minor in social work. She is currently pursuing her masters in athletic administration.
