Sticco-Ivins Earns Second NEWMAC Diver of the Week Award

WELLESLEY, Mass. — Wellesley College swimming and diving's Maura Sticco-Ivins has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Diver of the Week for the period ending November 23. 

This is the second Diver of the Week Award honor for Sticco-Ivins this season, she also earned the award on November 4th.

Sticco-Ivins won both the one meter and three meter events to earn both of the Blue's victories in a 213-84 loss at MIT on Friday. The first-year scored 267.90 in the one meter event before taking the three meter event with an overall score of 260.70.

Wellesley swimming & diving will continue its season in December. The Blue will return to MIT to participate in the MIT Winter Invitational, December 5-7.
