UPDATED: Wellesley’s Sticco-Ivins Set for 2015 NCAA DIII Diving Championships

WELLESLEY, Mass. — Wellesley College first year Maura Sticco-Ivins will will join 23 other individual qualifiers at the 2015 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships on Wednesday, March 18 and Friday, March 20 at the CISD Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas. 

Sticco-Ivins will participate in both the 3-Meter and 1-Meter events, with 3-Meter diving scheduled for Wednesday and the 1-Meter event set for Friday. Both days of competition will begin with preliminary rounds at 2:00 PM EST, followed by the final round at 7:00 PM EST. 

The 2015 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Diver of the Year, Sticco-Ivins qualified for this year's championships after sweeping the 1-meter and 3-meter boards at that Region 3 Championships held at Springfield College on February 27th and 28th. 

A native of Framingham, Mass., Sticco-Ivins earned NEWMAC Diver of the Week honors seven times during her rookie season and was also named the ECAC New England Division III Regional Diver of the Week five times.
