Wellesley's Sticco-Ivins Featured in NCAA Champion Magazine

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College swimming & diving junior Maura Sticco-Ivins (Framingham, Mass.) is featured in the latest edition of NCAA Champion Magazine. A national publication produced by the NCAA, Champion Magazine 'goes behind the headlines and beyond the scoreboards to celebrate the unique connection between Americans and college sports.'

Sticco-Ivins is one of seven student-athletes profiled in the article Training Days, written by associate editor Brian Burnsed. The piece focuses on the workouts and training methods that have helped some of the top athletes in the NCAA attain success. Sticco-Ivins, the 2015 NCAA 3-Meter Diving National Champion and a two-time NCAA Diving National Runner-up, was interviewed for the piece along with Becky Kimball, Wellesley's Butler Director of Sports Performance and Fitness.

Wellesley College swimming & diving will open the 2016-17 season on Sunday, November 6, at 3:00 PM when they face MIT and Springfield at MIT's Zesiger Center Pool.
