WELLESLEY, Mass. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) awarded its NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving honors Saturday night at the conclusion of the 2017 NCAA Division III Championships and Wellesley College junior Maura Sticco-Ivins (Framingham, Mass.) was named the 2017 Women's Diver of the Year, while Diving Coach Jack Lewis was named the 2017 Women's Diving Coach of the Year.

Sticco-Ivins swept both the one and three-meter boards at this week's NCAA Championships at the ISD Conroe Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas, becoming the first diver to do so since Danica Roskos of The College of New Jersey accomplished the feat in 2011. The CSCAA Diver of the Year honor is the second of Sticco-Ivins' career, as she also took home the award following the 2015 NCAA Championships in Shenandoah. Sticco-Ivins, who won the three-meter title in 2015, has now won three NCAA Division III National Championships, the most in Wellesley College history.

Lewis, a three-time honorable mention All-American during a standout career at Springfield College, receives the CSCAA Division III Women's Diving Coach of the Year award for the first time in his career. Lewis becomes the second Wellesley diving coach in the last three years to win the award, as Zach Lichter took home the honor in 2015. Lewis helped guide Sticco-Ivins to New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) and NCAA Regional titles in both one and three-meter diving. In addition, Sticco-Ivins was one of two Wellesley divers coached by Lewis to qualify for NCAA Regional competition, as Blue senior Maddie Stern (Phoenix, Ariz.) finished in the top-ten on the one-meter board and placed 13th in three-meter diving.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America -is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
