Before Wellesley: Attended Huntington North High School... graduated in 2017... was first team all - conference as a senior... qualified for state twice... conference record holder in the 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly... school record holder in the 100 butterfly.

Personal: Daughter of Anne and Bo Helmich... her mother rowed at Seattle Pacific University... born in Dubuque, Iowa... has three younger brothers, Paul, Andrew, and William... chose to attend Wellesley because of the academic reputation.
