WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College swimming & diving senior Maura Sticco-Ivins (Framingham, Mass.) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Diver of the Week for the week ending January 14, 2018. She has now earned the honor twice this season and 19 times in her Wellesley College career.

Wellesley senior diver Maura Sticco-Ivins posted four NCAA regional qualifying marks during her final week of competition at Wellesley's Chandler Pool. On Thursday against Babson and Coast Guard, Sticco-Ivins earned victories on both the one and three-meter boards, scoring 305.95 to win the one-meter and 327.60 on the three-meter. She concluded the week with scores of 274.75 on the one-meter and 303.95 on the three-meter during a Senior Day victory over Smith.

The three-time defending Seven Sisters Champion in one and three-meter diving, Sticco-Ivins and the Blue will take part in this year's Championship on Saturday and Sunday, January 20th and 21st at Mount Holyoke College.
