Wellesley Swimming & Diving Selected as CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected the Wellesley College swimming and diving team for Scholar All-American honors. Wellesley was one of 461 schools to receive the award for the Spring semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring grade point averages and represent 17,982 student-athletes.

Wellesley College swimming & diving sophomore Jessica Wegner (Taipei, Taiwan) has qualified for the 2020 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, March 18-21, 2020, at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.

Wegner now owns the Wellesley program record in six different events (Tony Svensson).

Sophomore Jessica Wegner (Taipei, Taiwan) captured her second career 100 Fly title in a school record time of 55.57 and finished third in the 100 Back to lead Wellesley College swimming & diving on Saturday at the 2020 New England Women’s & Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Swimming & Diving Championships at MIT’s Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center Pool.

Sophomore Jessica Wegner (Taipei, Taiwan) and the 200 Free Relay set a pair of new Wellesley College swimming & diving program records and the Blue earned a pair of bronze medal finishes on day two of the 2020 New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Swimming & Diving Championships on Friday at MIT's Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center Pool.

The NEWMAC Championships take place Feb. 20-23 at MIT (Frank Poulin).

Paced by three individual victories from sophomore Jessica Wegner (Taipei, Taiwan), Wellesley College swimming & diving closed out an undefeated dual meet season with a 178-107 victory over Merrimack College on Saturday at the Andover YMCA.

Wellesley College junior Hannah May (Cincinnati, Ohio) has been named the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week for the week ending January 19, 2019. In addition, May and teammates Jessica Wegner (Taipei, Taiwan), Danielle Peterson (Livingston, N.J.), and Maggie Haley (Shady Side, Md.) have been named the NEWMAC Women's Swimming Relay of the Week for their performance in the 400 Medley.

Wellesley Swimming & Diving Wins MHC Sisters Invitational

January 19, 2020

Wellesley College swimming & diving won 12 of 14 events on day two of the Sisters Invitational to finish in first place at the meet on Sunday at the Kendall Sports Complex Natatorium. Wellesley closed out the meet with 1241.5 points, finishing ahead of second place Smith (770.5) and host Mount Holyoke College (767) in third place. Merrimack College was fourth (589) and Western New England University finished fifth (204).

Blue Swim & Dive Wins Four Events On Opening Day of Sisters Invitational

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College swimming & diving is in first place following the first day of competition at the Sisters Swimming & Diving Invitational, hosted by Mount Holyoke College at the Kendall Sports Complex Natatorium.
