Wellesley Swimming & Diving Welcomes Ricky Davies as Diving Coach

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Bonnie Dix, Head Swimming Coach and PERA Associate Professor of the Practice at Wellesley College, has announced the hiring of Ricky Davies as Diving Coach.

Davies has spent the last two seasons as Diving Coach at nearby Regis College in Weston, Mass., helping the Pride to runner-up finishes in each of the last two Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships.

No stranger to the NEWMAC, Davies was a four-year diver at Wheaton College in Norton, Mass., earning NEWMAC Diver of the Week and ECAC Division III New England Diver of the Week honors during his collegiate career. A 2017 graduate of Wheaton with a degree in Business and Management, the Wayland, Mass. native is currently enrolled at nearby Framingham State University in the Masters of Education program.

Wellesley College swimming & diving opens the season on Saturday, November 2, vs. Wheaton.
