2021-22:

• Made first career appearance versus Wheaton on Oct. 30 and swam in three events
• Earned a fifth place finish in the 100 Free and 1000 free versus Simmons on Nov. 6
• Swam a season best 27.85 in the 50 Free and placed fifth against Mount Holyoke

2020-21:

• Did not participate due to Covid-19 Pandemic

Before Wellesley:

• Attended Kapaa High School, and graduated in 2020.
• Swam for both a club team and high school team.
• Was the 100 Backstroke champion all four years at the KIF island championships.

Personal:

• Daughter of Christopher and Melissa Hoesel.
• Born on Kauai, HI.
• Has one sister, Katy.
• Loves to read and has two cats (Loki, Yoda) and two dogs (Stitch and Dancer)!
• Chose to attend Wellesley because of the amazing community and academics. As a future science major, it was so important to me to be in an environment where my thoughts and ideas would be taken seriously, and where I could have amazing opportunities for research and mentorship. Wellesley has such an amazing community, and I am so excited to be a part of it!
