Blue Track's Bickford, Fouda and Keenan Run at Princeton's Larry Ellis Invite

PRINCETON, N.J. — Three members of the Wellesley College track & field team were in action on Friday evening in the 5000 meter run at the Larry Ellis Invitational, hosted by Princeton University. 

Sophomore Mary Keenan (Borene, Texas) led the pack of Wellesley runners with a time of 17:16.02, good enough to earn 12th place in the second heat.

Senior Taylor Bickford (Limington, Maine), the reigning New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) track athlete of the week, finished in 15th place in the second heat with a time of 17:19.66

Finally, junior Priyanka Fouda (Wellesley, Mass.) won the third heat after crossing the finish line with a mark of 17:30.18.

Keenan, Bickford, Fouda and the rest of the Blue track & field team will continue the weekend schedule tomorrow at the Aloha Relays, hosted by Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
