Chen, Wellesley Track & Field Opens Weekend at NE DIII Championships

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Wellesley College track & field opened the 2017 New England Division III Championships on a soggy Friday at Williams College's Lee Track & Field Complex. 

Sophomore Cathy Chen (Parsippany, N.J.) was the lone competitor on Friday, taking part in the preliminaries of the 100m Hurdles. Chen finished in 12th place (16.83 seconds) and did not advance to Saturday's final in the event.

Action continues for the Blue on Saturday at Williams. Live stats and video will be available throughout the day's competition.
