WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Senior Isabella Narvaez (Cali, Columbia) was the runner-up in the 400m and set a new school record in the 200m to lead Wellesley College track & field on Saturday at the 2017 New England Division III Championships at Williams College's Lee Track & Field Complex.

Narvaez opened her day in the 400m, earning runner-up and Division III All-Region honors in the event with a time of 56.88. Narvaez also helped the Blue post a time of 51.15 (18th) in the 4 x 100m relay, running the third leg of the race following first year Lauren Dines (Tenafly, N.J.) and junior Priscilla Lee (Anaheim, Calif.). Sophomore Cathy Chen (Parsippany, N.J.) ran the anchor leg.

Senior Edie Sharon (Winchester, Mass.) added another top-eight time for the Blue in the 3000m Steeplechase, earning All-Region accolades with a fourth place finish. Sharon completed the race in a season-best 11:25.04.
