WELLESLEY, Mass. -- The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced its All-Academic Team honors for the 2017-18 NCAA Division III Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field seasons and Wellesley College Track & Field was among the 291 teams honored for their academics.

The Blue held a cumulative GPA of 3.28 as a squad to qualify for the honor, joing 184 other women's programs from across the nation. Early this spring, 12 members of the Blue were also named to the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference team, after carrying a GPA of 3.50 or higher. Under the guidance of Head Coach Phil Jennings, the Blue finished in sixth place at this year's NEWMAC Conference Championships.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) is a non-profit professional organization representing cross country and track & field coaches of all levels. The organization represents thousands of coaching members encompassing NCAA track & field programs (DI, DII, and DIII) and includes members representing the NAIA and NJCAA, as well as a number of state high school coaches associations.
