Blue Track & Field Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors; Bradbury, Marks Named All-Academic Athletes

Wellesley College track & field has been named a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team for the 2022 NCAA Division III Women’s Track & Field seasons. In addition, recent graduates Maya Bradbury '22 (Freeport, Maine) and Ari Marks '22 (Eagle Point, Ore.) earned All-Academic Athlete distinction for the 2022 NCAA Division III Women’s Track & Field seasons.
Wellesley Cross Country/Track & Field No. 6 in USTFCCCA Program of the Year Final Standings

The Wellesley College cross country/track & field program finished the 2021-22 academic year at No. 6 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Program of the Year standings, ranking the Blue among the top-ten NCAA Division III Women’s cross country/track & field programs in the country.
Wellesley's Ari Marks Earns Inaugural NEWMAC Student-Athlete of the Year Award

Wellesley College track and field 2022 graduate Ari Marks (Eagle Point, Ore.) has been named one of the recipients of the 2021-22 NEWMAC (New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference) Student-Athlete of the Year Award. Marks is one of four recipients of the inaugural NEWMAC Student-Athlete of the Year Award, which focuses on the areas of academic achievement, athletics excellence, service and leadership. Oliver Thomas from WPI and Karenna Groff and David He from MIT also earned the honor.

Wellesley track & field senior Ari Marks won the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship in the 5000 meter run on Saturday afternoon at the SPIRE Institute. Marks completed the distance double after winning the 10,000 meter national title on Thursday.
