The championships will take place from March 8-9 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Norfolk State will be the host institution.

Sophomore Emily Brydges (Suffield, Conn.) won the 3000m event and Wellesley College track & field earned seventh out of 11 teams at the Reggie Poyau Memorial Invitational hosted by Brandeis University on Saturday. Host Brandeis won the team competition with 129.5 points. Bates took second with 101.5 points, followed by Smith (74), UMass Boston (61), RPI (56), St. Anselm (53), Wellesley (50), Fitchburg State (33), Regis (29), Emmanuel (18) and Wentworth (15).
Blue Track & Field Opens 2023-24 Season at the Mary Grinaker Invitational

Wellesley College track & field started the 2023-24 on Saturday at the Mary Grinaker Invitational, hosted by Smith College. Sophomore Simone Beauchamp (Aurora, Colo.) won the 3000m event with a personal best time of 11:09.53. Classmate Claire Peng (Chapel Hill, N.C.) was third with a time of 11:26.95.
