Wellesley Volleyball's Li, Reece Selected to Play in NEWVA Senior All-Star Game

Wellesley College volleyball seniors Michelle Li (Scarsdale, N.Y.) and Yasmine Reece (New Rochelle, N.Y.) have each been selected to play in NCAA Division III New England women's volleyball NEWVA Senior Classic All Star Game and Skills Competition.
Wellesley's Reece, Gedney Named 2018 AVCA DIII Honorable Mention All-America

The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has announced the 38th annual AVCA All-America teams for NCAA Division III women's volleyball. Wellesley College volleyball senior Yasmine Reece (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and sophomore Lauren Gedney (Huntersville, N.C.) has each earned Honorable Mention All-America honors for the 2018 season. The honor is the third career honorable mention All-America honor for Reece (2015, 2017) and the first career selection for Gedney.
Wellesley Volleyball Falls To Babson In NCAA Regional Semifinal, 3-0

Senior Yasmine Reece (New Rochelle, N.Y.) had a match-high 17 kills and classmate Samantha Hoang (Elk Grove, Calif.) added a match-high 16 digs, but Wellesley College volleyball dropped a 3-0 (27-25, 26-24, 25-15) final to host Babson College in the Regional Semifinals of the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship on Saturday at Staake Gymnasium.

Wellesley College volleyball has earned an at-large selection to the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship. The Blue (20-6 overall) will play Wentworth (25-4) in the First Round on Friday, November 9, at Babson College.

Senior setter Michelle Li (Scarsdale, N.Y.) earned All-Tournament honors as Wellesley College volleyball split a pair of matches on day two of the 2018 Hall of Fame Invitational at Amherst College's LeFrak Gymnasium. The Blue defeated Hamilton, 3-1 (25-16, 17-25, 25-22, 25-14), but fell to Bowdoin, 3-2 (25-22, 25-16, 21-25,15-11). Wellesley, ranked No. 7 in the region, is now 17-5 overall.
