Wellesley Volleyball Announces 2019 Schedule; Season Begins August 31st

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College volleyball and Head Coach Dorothy Webb have announced the team's schedule for the upcoming 2019 season. 

After making the program's second consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2018, the Blue are scheduled to play 26 matches during the 2019 regular season. Wellesley's slate includes nine matches on the team's home floor, including the season opener vs. Eastern Nazarene on August 31 at 12:00 PM. The Blue's 10 match New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) schedule begins on Tuesday, September 17 at Emerson College. 

A rematch of last year's NCAA Regional Semifinal at crosstown rival Babson College will cap the regular season on Tuesday, October 29 at 7:00 PM. Wellesley will also participate in three in-season tournaments, as the Blue will take part in the Wesleyan (Conn.) Tournament (Sept. 6-7), the MIT Invitational (Sept. 13-14) and the Hall of Fame Invitational in Amherst, Mass. (October 18-19).
