Clare Egan '10 to Represent U.S. at Upcoming Biathlon World Championships

WELLESLEY, Mass. —  Wellesley College alumna and former cross country student-athlete Clare Egan '10 has been named to the United States Biathlon's World Championship Team roster.  

Egan and Team USA will participate in the IBU Biathlon World Championships presented by BMW from March 4th to the 15th in Kontiolahti, Finland (http://www.kontiolahtibiathlon.com/).

Egan, who founded the Wellesley Club Nordic Sking program as a student, was promoted to the top level of U.S. Biathlon's developmental program in 2014 before making her biathlon World Cup debut in Antholz, Italy at the end of January, 2015. She has also been a member of the Craftsbury Green Racing Project (Craftsbury, Vt.) since 2011.
