Fouda Named NEWMAC XC Runner of the Week

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College cross country senior Priyanka Fouda (Wellesley, Mass.) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the period ending September 6, 2015.

Fouda recorded a time of 19:10.59 to win the individual title and lead Wellesley to the women's team title at the Roger Williams Invitational on Saturday, September 5. In all, Wellesley cross country enjoyed an outstanding day, placing five runners in the top-ten at the event. 

Fouda and the Blue will return to competition in two weeks in the Bates College Invitational at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine.
