Blue's Kreidel Garners NEWMAC XC Runner of the Week Honors

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College cross country senior Mary Kreidel (Boerne, Texas) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's cross country Runner of the Week for the week ending September 4, 2016. 

Kreidel ran to a time of 19:05.31 to take first place at the 2016 Roger Williams Invitational at Colt State Park. Kreidel, who was the runner-up at the event last season, also helped Wellesley capture the overall team title for the second consecutive year.

Blue cross country returns to action on Saturday, September 17, at 11:00 AM at the Bates Invitational at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine.
