Race Times & Results For Clare Egan '10 at the 2018 Winter Olympics

Wellesley College alumna Clare Egan '10 will compete for the United States at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. Egan will make her Olympic debut in biathlon, an event that combines cross-country skiing and rifle shooting.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10 - Women's 7.5km Sprint 
Top 60 finishers in the Sprint will compete in the Pursuit (Feb. 12)

RESULTS: Clare Egan finished 61st in 23:51.6, missing qualification for the Pursuit on Feb. 12 by one spot.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14 - Women's 15km Individual (POSTPONED)

Due to strong winds hitting the Alpensia Biathlon Center and forecasts predicting gusts of more than 15m/s, the Women's Individual biathlon event has been moved to Thursday, February 15. The new starting times are the following: Women's Individual: 5:15 p.m. KT/3:15 a.m. ET; Men's Individual: 8:20 p.m. KT/6:20 a.m. ET.

RESULTS: Team USA had four former collegiate athletes competing in the women's 4x6k relay on February 22 at the Alpensia Biathlon Center. Susan Dunklee (Dartmouth), Clare Egan (Wellesley/New Hampshire), Joanne Reid (Colorado) and Emily Dreissigacker (Dartmouth) collectively placed 13th with a finish time of 1:14:05.3.
