The Wellesley College cross country team and sophomore Samara Shaz (New York, N.Y.) have been recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their outstanding academic performance during the 2018 cross country season.

Catherine Xie recently completed her final fall cross country season. Following the team's third Seven Sisters Championship, Xi reflected on how much she loved her time on the cross country team and how much she is looking forward to her upcoming winter and spring track and field seasons.

Cowles Leads Blue Cross Country to 12th at NCAA DIII Regional Championships

Sophomore Grace Cowles (Yarmouth, Maine) finished with an All-Region time of 22:34.80 to lead Wellesley College cross country to 12th place at the 2018 NCAA Division III New England Regional Championships on Saturday at Bowdoin College.

Sophomore Grace Cowles earned All-Conference honors as Wellesley College cross country ran to fourth place at the 2018 New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship on Saturday at Smith College. 

Grace Cowles is the fourth individual champion for the Blue in the last five year (Bryn Mawr Athletic Communications).

Wellesley College cross country sophomore Grace Cowles (Yarmouth, Maine) ran to the individual title to help the Blue take second place at the 2018 Seven Sisters Championship on Sunday afternoon at Rose Tree Park.

First year Maya Bradbury finished 12th overall for the Blue (Frank Poulin).
Blue Cross Country Runs to 4th at Minnesota's Griak Invitational

Wellesley College cross country finished fourth overall at the University of Minnesota’s annual Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Les Bolstad Golf Course. Wellesley finished with 101 points in the women’s Division III 6K race.

Sophomore Grace Cowles was 37th overall (19:35.1) on Saturday (Frank Poulin).
Marks, Cowles Lead Wellesley XC to Fifth at UMass Dartmouth Invitational

First year Ariana Marks (Eagle Point, Ore.) and sophomore Grace Cowles (Yarmouth, Maine) each finished in the top-40 to lead Wellesley College cross country to a fifth place in the 5k Varsity Race at the 2018 UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.

Ariana Marks finished fifth overall in the Wellesley Invitational.
