Anderson and Murphy-Weise Conclude Season at DIII Nationals
EAST LANSING, Mich. - Wellesley College cross country seniors Claire Anderson (Denver, Colo.) and Ellie Murphy-Weise (San Francisco, Calif.) competed at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Forest Akers East Golf Course in East Lansing, Mich.
Anderson finished 56th with a time of 23:00.2 while Murphy-Weise placed 186th with a time of 24:00.5 in the frigid conditions of Michigan. Both runners also competed in the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.
Loras College graduate student Kassie Parker (Gutenberg, Iowa) was the individual race winner with a time of 21:06.5. Johns Hopkins won the team event with a score of 144, followed by U. Of Chicago in second (147), and Wartburg in third (178).
